Job Description
Insight Global is looking for Avionics Engineers to support new aircraft development for a large aerospace company, sitting in either Toronto or Calgary. This is a full-time role, 5 days a week, onsite. The role involves developmental and pre‑certification work, reviewing documentation with the Flight Test team, and supporting collaborative technical presentations. Candidates should have experience with cockpit electrical/avionics systems, an understanding of FAA/EASA requirements, and the ability to work closely with engineering and regulatory teams. This position reports into the Manager of Electrical Engineering within a team of 10, including wiring and design engineers.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Avionics Engineering.
- 5+ years working in avionics/electrical systems within the aerospace industry.
- Proficient in CATIA for aircraft system design, modelling, and seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering groups.
- Familiarity with Transport Canada, FAA, and EASA regulations. Candidates should have worked directly with regulatory bodies or through delegated authorities and be comfortable acting as a point of contact.
- Strong ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment with a high-volume workload. - Experience working on De Havilland aircrafts - Dash 8 as well as water bombers and Twin Otters.
