Role Summary & Impact 
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire skilled Avionics/ Electronics Technicians who are passionate about aircraft systems and precision work. In this role, you’ll be essential to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of advanced aircraft by maintaining and troubleshooting critical avionics and electronic systems. Your expertise directly supports aircraft readiness and flight safety in a highly regulated, high-impact environment. 

 
 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities 
As an Avionics / Electronics Technician, you will work hands-on with aircraft systems in a dynamic maintenance environment: 

Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment 

Perform and document all work in accordance with approved manuals and regulatory requirements 

Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures 

Participate in 5-S and continuous improvement activities 

Operate ground support equipment as required 

Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations 

Support other maintenance disciplines as needed 

Assist with maintenance activities at off-site locations when required 

Perform all assigned tasks safely, accurately, and on schedule 

 
 

Required Qualifications 

Avionics or Electrical Aircraft Technical School completion, or a substantiated equivalent 

Typically 2+ years of avionics work experience or equivalent hands-on experience 

Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings and schematics 

Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form regarding individual and aircraft status 

Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate proper inventory and tool control 

Ability to obtain required Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications 

Willingness to work unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays 

Ability to work outdoors in seasonal or inclement weather 

Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, if applicable 

Basic PC skills 

 
 

Preferred Qualifications 

FAA Certification as required by customer (Commercial Aircraft) 

GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) certification 

Experience working on corporate jet aircraft and/or commercial aircraft

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
