Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Technician with a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License to join our Wichita-based maintenance team. The ideal candidate will perform aircraft repairs, inspections, and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance with limited supervision while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, repair, inspection, and maintenance on customer aircraft with limited supervision.Adhere to all general work requirements and established maintenance practices.Document all work performed in accordance with manuals, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.Read, interpret, and work from mechanical engineering drawings and technical data.Operate aircraft ground support equipment safely and effectively.Operate industrial vehicles and equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts.Maintain personal hand tools and demonstrate proper tool control practices.Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats with team members, supervisors, and customers.Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and participate in 5S/continuous improvement activities.Perform all duties in a safe, organized, and timely manner.Utilize basic PC skills for documentation, research, and communication.Requires open shift availability 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shiftsQualificationsValid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.Previous corporate jet experience, including CRJ platform experience, strongly preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to lift, climb, and work in various positions as required by aircraft maintenance tasks.Required open shift availability, including the ability to work any assigned shift to support operational demands.Work EnvironmentHangar and shop environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and aircraft operations.Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.Job Type & Location

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
