Key Responsibilities:
Warranty Administration & Auditing
Administer OEM warranty policies, procedures, and programs across the dealer network Review, assess, approve, and audit dealer warranty claims for accuracy, validity, and compliance Monitor warranty submissions, labour operation codes, labour times, parts usage, and supporting documentation Identify claim discrepancies, rejections, and rework requirements, and provide clear feedback to dealers Maintain accurate warranty records in line with audit and compliance requirements Policy Compliance & Cost Control
Ensure dealer compliance with OEM warranty and service policies and procedures Identify, investigate, and report on warranty trends, anomalies, repeat failures, and potential misuse Support warranty cost containment initiatives and recovery actions Assist with the administration of goodwill claims, recalls, and service campaigns Dealer Support & Communication Act as a key point of contact for dealer service managers, warranty clerks, and service advisors Provide guidance and support on warranty procedures, claim entry, and documentation standards Assist dealers in resolving warranty claim disputes, rejections, and process-related issues Support dealer training initiatives related to warranty and service processes Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyse warranty and service data to identify recurring faults, quality concerns, and root causes Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on warranty spend, claim frequency, repair quality, and dealer performance Provide field data and feedback to engineering, quality, technical, and product support teams Service Operations Support
Support service operations with service campaigns, recalls, and product quality initiatives Assist with customer escalations relating to warranty and service concerns where required Coordinate with parts, logistics, and technical support teams to ensure effective claim resolution Process Improvement & Systems Support
Support continuous improvement initiatives within warranty and service operations Assist with warranty system enhancements, updates, testing, and user support Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal and external audits Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3–6 years’ experience in automotive warranty administration, service operations, or dealer support Strong understanding of dealership service, parts, and warranty processes OEM or dealership experience (highly advantageous) Proven experience in warranty claim review, validation, and auditing Strong data analysis and reporting capability High attention to detail with strong accuracy and compliance focus Excellent communication skills with a dealer-support mindset Proficient in DMS platforms, OEM warranty systems, and Microsoft Office Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!! Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Accuracy and compliance of warranty claim approvals Reduction in warranty claim rejections and rework Warranty cost control and trend management Timeliness and quality of dealer support Audit outcomes and compliance results
