**Job Title: Automotive Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled automotive technician. If you have expertise in engine repair, transmissions, and general auto repair, this opportunity is perfect for you. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose engine issues using scan tools, pressure gauges, and other diagnostic equipment. + Repair or replace damaged engine components. + Perform engine rebuilds and overhauls when necessary. + Test and inspect completed repairs to ensure proper engine performance. + Repair damaged or malfunctioning vehicles. + Frequently use hand tools and power tools. **Essential Skills** + Strong diagnostic skills and experience with modern engine management systems. + Skilled in engine repair. + Mechanical aptitude. + Ability to perform diagnostic testing. + Experience in transmission repair. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years’ experience in a GM dealership preferred. + Possession of personal automotive tools; a built-in toolbox will be provided. + A clean driving record. + Ability to perform physical maneuvers such as bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and crouching. + Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. (50 lbs. overhead) throughout the day. **Work Environment** The position is within a large dealership with a nice facility and high volume.
