Automotive Marketing Assistant / Coordinator - OEM Level - Gauteng, Bryanston
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Coordination & Execution
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities Ensure marketing activities are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with OEM objectives Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to execute campaigns effectively Assist in the creation, approval, and distribution of marketing collateral and point-of-sale (POS) materials Dealer & Agency Liaison
Act as the main point of contact for dealer marketing support, ensuring adherence to OEM brand standards Liaise with advertising agencies, media partners, and production vendors to coordinate campaign deliverables Support dealers with localised marketing efforts, campaign implementation, and reporting requirements Digital Marketing & Lead Generation Support
Assist in the management and execution of digital campaigns, including email, social media, and online advertising Track lead-generation activities, ensuring leads are properly captured, qualified, and distributed to the dealer network Support reporting on digital marketing performance and ROI Brand Compliance & Reporting
Ensure all marketing activities, materials, and campaigns comply with OEM brand guidelines and corporate identity Monitor campaign performance, generating reports for the Marketing Manager and dealer network Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance campaign effectiveness and efficiency Administrative & Operational Support
Maintain marketing calendars, schedules, and project documentation Monitor marketing budgets, track expenses, and ensure budget adherence Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and marketing performance summaries Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in marketing coordination, preferably within the automotive OEM sector Understanding of automotive branding, dealer networks, and campaign management Experience liaising with agencies and managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!! Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools; familiarity with CRM or digital marketing platforms advantageous Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to interpret marketing data and provide actionable insights Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Timely delivery of marketing campaigns and launches Lead-generation performance and conversion support Brand compliance adherence across all dealer networks Adherence to marketing budgets and cost controls Stakeholder satisfaction with marketing support and coordination
