Job Description
Join our team in performing essential body work on vehicles in preparation for painting and assembly. Your role will include tasks such as body prep, paint prep, priming, taping, covering, and using various tools to ensure vehicles are ready for the next stages.
Responsibilities
Perform necessary body work on vehicles for painting and assembly.Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming.Disassemble specific car parts as needed.Wet, sand, and buff finished vehicles to a high standard.Ensure proper usage and storage of painting products.Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools effectively.Mix paint and buff with wool and foam pads and compound.Wash vehicles and remove all compound residue.Maintain equipment and tools properly.Perform other assigned duties as directed.Essential Skills
Experience with hand, power, and pneumatic tools.Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures and rulers.Experience with bondo, painting, prepping, and priming.Proficient in buffing, sanding, polishing, and cleaning.Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in machine operation and packaging.Comfortable working in various tasks and getting dirty.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work on a production floor with various areas including disassembly, paint, weld, and electrical shops. Collaborate with leads and laborers to complete projects in a team setting. One area serves as a showroom for finished vehicles, while another focuses on armor welding and cutting. Be prepared to work in a large, open, and quiet space or a louder, dirtier environment with PPE such as steel toe shoes, jeans or work pants, and appropriate shirts. Safety glasses and gloves are provided as needed. Candidates must be comfortable working in confined spaces and crouched positions inside larger vehicles like SUVs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
