Job Title: Automation Technician
Job Description
We are looking for an Automation Technician to maintain and repair automated machines and Fanuc Robotic systems. In this role, you will diagnose system issues and implement corrective actions, perform routine inspections, and conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment in the facility. You will also assist with system upgrades and equipment installations.
Responsibilities

5+ years of experience in automation working with robots.5+ years of maintenance experience on manufacturing machinery, both preventive and reactive.Experience troubleshooting various process issues including shorts, flashes, and discoloration.Knowledge of plastic materials and various polymers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree or certificates in robotics, automation, or mechatronics.Experience with Arburg brand machinery and Fanuc Robots.Forklift and crane certification.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility offers a very clean and temperature-controlled environment. We currently have openings on first, second, and third shifts: 6am - 2:30pm, 2:00pm - 10:30pm, and 10pm - 7:30am. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
