Automation Technician
**Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team.** As an Automation Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Automation Technician **Location:** PA, West Hazleton **Pay Range:** $35.50/hr; • Shift Differential $4.00/hr • Opening on 3rd shift (Sun-Thursday 10:30PM-6:30AM, with weekend oncall coverage requirements) Direct Hire **What’s the Job?** + Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair electrical equipment breakdowns and malfunctions. + Perform root cause analysis to improve process reliability. + Interpret electrical schematics and repair electrical/electronic components. + Troubleshoot and modify PLC programming as needed. + Calibrate and maintain electronic instrumentation. **What’s Needed?** + Experience with electrical/electronic troubleshooting, including PLCs, motors, VFDs, and control systems. + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. + Knowledge of automation software such as RS Logix, PanelBuilder, and related technologies. + Experience with calibration of instrumentation (flowmeters, transmitters, control valves). + Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations. **What’s in it for me?** + Medical insurance + Dental insurance + Disability insurance + Life insurance + Weekly payment If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
