Job Description

The Automation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems and machinery used in industrial settings. The role ensures that robotic and computer-controlled equipment operates efficiently and safely.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, calibrate, and maintain automated equipment and systems.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize system performance.Document maintenance activities and system updates.Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.Essential SkillsExperience in automation and control systems.Proficiency in PLC programming.Strong troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals.Experience in an industrial setting is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is an industrial food setting requiring all necessary PPE. It includes both cold and hot areas throughout the plant, depending on the product being manufactured. The standard shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $83200.00/yr.
