Job Description
Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated systems, including conveyors, robotics, PLCs, and sensors. Lead installation and commissioning of new automation equipment and collaborate with engineering and IT teams to optimize system performance.
ResponsibilitiesConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and system configurations.Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance staff.Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.Troubleshoot microcontrollers like Omron, Mitsubishi, Keyence, and Siemens PLCs with the ability to identify correct I/O points and match the addressing with machine schematics.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance, particularly with systems operating at 480 volts.Experience in PLC troubleshooting, repair, and understanding of schematics and blueprints.Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems, including robotics and conveyor systems.Ability to troubleshoot Allen-Bradley and Rockwell automation equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood working knowledge of safety circuits, relays, interlocks, and E-stop circuits.Ability to operate on ladders and elevated lifts to access work areas up to 60 feet above ground level.Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Work Environment
First shift schedule: Sunday - Tuesday 6am - 6pm, Wednesday 6am - Noon. The work setting is a climate-controlled warehouse.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
