Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Automation Technician in a cutting-edge Plastics and Medical Device manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for daily work tasks, maintenance routines, repairs, and calibrations to prolong the useful life and optimize the efficiency of production equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance and repairs, equipment calibration, and robotic troubleshooting. Proficiency in electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance of presses for plastic injection is essential.

ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repairs on production equipment.Conduct equipment calibration to ensure optimal efficiency.Troubleshoot robotic systems and perform necessary adjustments.Execute electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance on plastic injection presses.Essential SkillsExperience in injection molding.Experience in robot troubleshooting (Yaskawa, Yushin, Whiteland).Understanding of Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v.Proficiency in pneumatic and servo motor troubleshooting.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled facility within the Plastics and Medical Device industry. Shifts include first shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm with no differential, second shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm with a 7.5% differential, and third shift from 10:30pm to 7:30am with a 10% differential. Training will occur during the day for a month.

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $88000.00/yr.
