**Job Title: Automation Technician** **Job Description** The Automation Technician will be responsible for the preventative, repair, and upkeep maintenance on over 100 robots connected to a 5,000 square foot automated picking system. This role involves standing work on a mezzanine about one story high, equipped with guard rails, a desk with a computer, and a workstation for staging robots for repair and preventative maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance and repair on over 100 robots. + Handle work orders and PM schedules as assigned, documenting issues and processes both on paper and in the computer system. + Conduct majority of repairs, which are mechanical in nature, including timing belts, wheels, and gears. + Engage in remote troubleshooting for electrical and PLC/HMI issues. + Troubleshoot and repair IPC robotic bagging machines, robotic arms, conveyor systems, screw sorting and bagging machines, and automated box building machines. + Work night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM to 6 AM. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. + Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and repair. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Strong computer skills, including basic PLC, HMI capabilities, and Microsoft Excel for documentation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Lock and tag capabilities for LOTO process provided by Aerotek. + Experience in troubleshooting and working with automation and robotics. **Why Work Here?** This role offers full benefits, a clean and comfortable warehouse environment, and support from managed services and automation support teams. The dress code includes clean jeans, steel toe boots, and a plain shirt, with tools provided minus lock and tag for LOTO process. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of York, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $36.00/hr.
