Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking an Automation Specialist to join their team. As an Automation Specialist, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork spirit, excellent communication skills, and effective training abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Automation Specialist PM Shift
**Location:** Rocky Mount, NC
**Pay Range:** $38-$43/hr
**Duration:** 12 months (potential to extend/convert)
**Schedule:** 7p-7a (2,2,3 rotating schedule)
**What's the Job?**
+ Contribute to the completion of projects, manage your own time on agreed targets, and develop plans for your own projects while leading small project teams.
+ Demonstrate good planning, organizing, time management, and team participation skills.
+ Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance work to ensure all equipment and systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
+ Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
+ Modify and install electrical and control systems to correct issues, enhance performance, and complete corrective activities.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience.
+ Familiarity with industrial control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADAs, computerized systems, Historians, and/or SQL Server.
+ Experience in troubleshooting issues to root cause and recommending and implementing effective corrective actions.
+ Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral).
+ Understanding of programming, and proficiency in at least one programming language is a plus.
