Looking for an **Automation Specialist** to work fully onsite, in **Rocky Mount, NC** . This is a **12-Month Contract** with possibility of extension and/or conversion to FTE/Perm. **Job Title:** Automation Specialist **Location:** Rocky Mount, NC [FULLY ONSITE] **Pay:** $35 an hour + benefits **Schedule:** Mon-Fri, 7am to 7pm **Key Responsibilities** + Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time on agreed targets, develop plans for own projects and leads small project teams. + Demonstrate good planning, organizing, time management and team participation skills. + Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance work to ensure all the equipment and systems work safely, efficiently, and reliably. + Generate and develop standard operating procedures and job aids to support systems and equipment. + Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions. **Requirements** + High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience. + Familiar with industrial control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADAs, computerized systems, Historians, and/or SQL Server. + Experience in troubleshooting issues to root cause and recommending and implementing effective corrective actions.
