Automation/Robotics Technician - 2nd Shift
**Job Title: Automation/Robotics Technician - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Automation/Robotics Technician for the 2nd shift. This role requires expertise in managing over 100 robots and troubleshooting PLCs. The technician will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of robotic systems. **Responsibilities** + Manage and oversee the operation of over 100 robots, including Sepro and Fanuc models. + Troubleshoot PLC systems, including Allen Bradley, to diagnose sensor issues on robots. + Dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts. + Install and repair electrical systems, such as 480v transformers and wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipment. + Perform robotic cell setup and changeover, including program touch-up, end-of-arm tooling adjustment, and fixture setup to achieve first-piece approval. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 5 years experience as a robotics/automation technician. + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and robotic troubleshooting. + Experience in robot programming, including Allen Bradley PLC. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience with robotic arm changes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + Must wear steel toe boots for safety. **Why Work Here** This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with benefits starting day one after a 90-day contract period. Employees are required to work two Saturdays a month. Please be prepared for the physical requirements of the role. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position near Fremont Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
