Job Title: Automation Technician

$25-40/hr | 1st or 2nd shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to install, maintain, and repair automated machinery and control systems. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and integration of new technologies.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair automated machinery and control systems.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automation equipment.Troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, modifications, and system performance.Support the integration of new automation technologies and upgrades.Essential SkillsStrong understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical systems, and robotics.Experience with sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols.Proficiency in automation, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting.Experience in pneumatics, robotics, and preventive maintenance.3+ years of experience in an industrial automation or manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree or technical certification in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field is nice to have.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming.Experience in control system design and controls engineering.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
