**Traveling CNC Maintenance Technician** **Location** : Nationwide (Travel-Based) **Pay** : $40–$45/hour **Per Diem** : $1,050/week **Job Type** : Full-Time | 100% Travel | All Expenses Paid **🛠️** **Position Overview** We are seeking a skilled **Electrical Maintenance Technician** with experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines. This role involves working with a wide range of automation and machine tool systems across over 35 OEM brands. You’ll support operations by maintaining CNC mills (vertical and horizontal), machining centers, robotics, and other industrial equipment. **🔧** **Key Responsibilities** + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and automation systems + Perform electrical maintenance on CNC mills, machining centers, and robotics + Work with equipment such as P&H cranes/hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools + Repair CNC and PLC systems with controllers from Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon + Troubleshoot AC/DC analog and digital drives, sensors, encoders, wiring, and 480V systems + Use laptops to connect to machines for diagnostics and repairs + Log maintenance activities using a company-provided computer/tablet via MMS system + Prioritize repairs based on equipment value stream **✅** **Required Skills & Qualifications** + Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines + Strong knowledge of PLC controls and ladder logic editing + Electrical troubleshooting through HMI interfaces + Familiarity with control systems: Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc + Experience with AC/DC power systems + Ability to work independently and travel extensively **💼** **Why Join Us?** + Work with one of the largest and most respected employers in the region + Above-market pay for your skill set + Weekly per diem to cover travel expenses + Opportunities to grow your skills in a dynamic, supportive environment **🏭** **Work Environment & Schedule** + Industrial manufacturing and machine shop setting + AWS Schedule: Friday–Monday (2 days on, 2 nights on) + 4 ten-hour shifts per week (guaranteed 40 hours) + Initial 2–4 weeks of training on day shift before transitioning to assigned schedule + Candidates must be open to both day and night shifts **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
