\t\t\t\t\tRole OverviewThis role is a hands‑on Senior Automation Engineer position supporting a live manufacturing facility within the health, nutrition, or regulated process manufacturing space. The engineer will focus on automation and controls troubleshooting, system reliability, and small‑to‑medium improvement initiatives, working closely with cross‑functional plant teams to enhance performance and sustainability of control systems.The position requires comfort working directly in a production environment and taking ownership of automation enhancements from idea through execution.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day‑to‑day support to plant operations by troubleshooting automation, instrumentation, and control system issuesLead and execute small‑to‑medium automation improvement projects from initial concept through implementationImprove reliability, standardization, and documentation across control systemsCollaborate closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and IT/OT teamsHelp build internal automation capability and reduce dependence on external contractorsPerform additional responsibilities as needed to support site leadership and plant objectivesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline4–8 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineeringStrong experience with PLC and/or DCS platforms (DeltaV or Allen Bradley experience required)Proven ability to troubleshoot live production systems in a manufacturing environmentExperience supporting batch or continuous process manufacturing (pharma, chemical, food, or other regulated industries preferred)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
