The Position

As an Automation Business Analyst, you are supporting automation business partners in assessing and documenting automation ideas at the earliest stage. Your critical thinking and ability to elicit high-level requirements from stakeholders are greatly needed. Once an idea is confirmed, your detailed documentation and communication skills will play an important role in mapping and documenting the end-to-end processes, including the AS-IS and TO-BE. At a later stage, your detailed requirements help initiate the development phase and afterwards test the solution (UAT). Once solutions are in production, your job is to keep key solution documentation up to date, so our portfolio of solutions reflects the business needs.

You are working in a collaborative and agile environment, surrounded by other automation & data enthusiasts at the Roche Services and Solutions (RSS), building solutions for our Roche peers and ultimately impacting our patients. The Opportunity

Supporting the automation business partners to prepare automation projects for development and ensure timely deliveryFacilitating process improvement and automation use case identification in collaboration with process experts, business partners and other relevant stakeholders.Partnering with stakeholders to identify repetitive processes and system issues. Collaborating with other teams to implement process and technical changes to close gaps Creating relevant project documentation, such as process designs, requirements, status reports, as per project squad's role requirements. Working closely to Automation Developers and support design, deployment, test (UAT) and operation phases. Fostering an innovative mindset in the organizationCreating meaningful project and portfolio documentation, depicting ongoing projects and deployed solutions 

Who You Are

Ideally, you have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or financial field (Finance, Engineering, Computer Science). This is not mandatoryYou bring a solid track record of 2+ years in Software Development or Automation projects. Nice to have: experience in a Global Business Service organization or in regional/global projects.Lean SixSigma experience, Business Process Modeling  and related certifications are greatly desirableEnglish fluency is required for all Roche internal interactions

Behaviors, competencies, and qualities of the ideal applicant

Ability to identify root causes and translate complex business requirements into clear automation specifications and process maps.Proactive communicator skilled at navigating diverse organizations and liaising effectively across different business units.Experience with Agile/Lean methodologies and an entrepreneurial approach to managing project lifecycles.Hands-on experience with the UiPath platform, specifically Task Capture, Document Understanding, and Action Center.Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA and a proven ability to learn new technical ecosystems quickly.
