Job Title: Auto Mechanic

PAY: $25-28/HR

Location: Paterson, NJ

HOURS: 6:00AM-4:30PM, Monday to Friday (At least 50 hours

per week)

Job Description:

You will be responsible for all aspects of paint repair,

including:

Body work (Bondo application)Buffing and glazingDA (dual action) sandingPaint sprayingSpot blending

Required education, skills and experiences to be

successful:

Perform paint repairs, including dent, scratch, and hole patchingPrep products for final paint applicationSand and/or mask products before paintingClean and inspect products for quality finishOperate paint-related tools and equipment, including:DA sanderOrbital bufferPaint spray gunCordless screw gunPneumatic grinderMaintain a fast-paced workflow while ensuring high-quality standardsWork collaboratively within a team atmosphereAssist in other areas of the paint department as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong knowledge of base coat/clear coat paint systems (experience with Sikkens/Akzo Nobel is a plus)Ability to use common hand and power tools for paint applicationsAttention to detail and precision in achieving an acceptable paint finishAbility to communicate and follow directions in English
