Audit Services Manager

We are looking for talented individuals to join us in the role of Audit Services Manager, based in Mexico City.

How You’ll Make an Impact

In this role, you will lead and strengthen the Audit Services program for Global Food Retail, ensuring high-quality execution, auditor calibration, and alignment with customer expectations. You will work cross-functionally with Field Operations, Corporate Accounts, and customers to drive consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across auditing activities. Your impact will include:

Leading onboarding and audit training programs for auditors and Field Service Managers, ensuring audit and food safety competencies are met prior to independent audit execution.

Supporting audit accuracy and calibration by accompanying field associates during audits and providing real-time coaching and feedback.

Evaluating auditor performance metrics on a monthly basis, identifying gaps, and managing corrective actions for out-of-calibration auditors.

Developing, delivering, and facilitating in-person and virtual training and calibration sessions in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.

Partnering directly with customer food safety teams and Corporate Account Managers to align audit scope, expectations, and execution standards.

Preparing and presenting audit performance metrics, trends, and insights to customers during business reviews and governance meetings.

Generating and delivering advanced audit reports using Ecolab auditing platforms, including trend analysis, scorecards, and ad hoc reporting as required.

Supporting the expansion and profitability of audit services by participating in pilots, new business opportunities, and continuous program improvement.

Providing regular updates to the Director of Global Audit Services on program performance, risks, and key initiatives.

Exercising dotted-line leadership for associates performing Customer Standards Specialist duties within the Latin America region.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field.

Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

5 years of experience in the food safety industry or related environments.

Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); Power BI preferred.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within retail or foodservice environments.

Knowledge of regulatory food codes, auditing standards, and compliance frameworks.

Experience with auditing platforms, databases, and basic statistical analysis.

Certifications such as ServSafe or SafeMark.

Experience managing multiple projects with tight timelines and high attention to detail.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills
