You will be part of the leadership team for the IT SOX program, combining extensive hands-on experience with change management and techniques for problem-solving with a strong drive for results and quality in accordance with professional standards. You will oversee and ensure the delivery of timely, high quality and value-add project results in accordance with professional standards. The IT SOX Manager will also focus on the development of staff, timely and accurate reporting, and the fostering of relationships with business partners. You will be responsible for your assigned areas and projects as well as assisting the IT Director with executive communications and developing internal policies and training programs. This group is responsible for monitoring financial internal controls including advising on projects that impact financial reporting. As the regulatory environment changes, the GSA function strives to be agile in order to respond to emerging financial risks and related regulatory compliance. Currently the GSA function is expanding, and this is a unique opportunity to join a global organization and deliver complex and large projects across various geographies and segments. **What You'll Do:** + Assist in day-to-day management of the IT SOX program from planning through scheduling, preparing, execution, tracking and reporting; this includes SOX walkthroughs, controls testing, deficiency evaluation, remediation tracking, review of workpapers and on-the-job-training of staff. + Assign, schedule and track SOX team resources to ensure that they are utilized effectively and efficiently. + Collaborate with process owners to plan and execute SOX engagements effectively. + Review work papers to ensure conclusions are adequately supported and documentation standards are met + Conduct interviews with business partners to quickly understand complex business environments and process flows, evaluate financial records, interpret policies and procedures and apply professional accounting and auditing standards to assess risk and controls environment. + Manage competing and priority demands, all delivered on time, with quality and within budgeted hours in line with the Global GSA strategy. + Strong understanding of ITGC, ITAC, and Key Report Testing. + Lead and supervise team members on audits and special projects. + Foster a positive work environment and lead teams in the planning, execution, and reporting phases of audits or special projects, in line with GSA IT leadership team guideline and timeline. + Participate in ad hoc requests and special projects as required by the GSA leadership team. **What You'll Need:** _To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required._ _Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions._ + 6-8 years of recent Big 4 accounting firm experience required + Experience navigating and leading in environments of transformation, change and disruption. + Experience facilitating training + Strong analytical capabilities, process improvement and organization skills; Excellent communication skills and presentation skills. + Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team whilst maintaining a positive and professional attitude + Proven track record in leading and managing audit teams and complex projects. + Proficiency in Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook is required. Proficiency in audit software is a plus + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. + Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
