We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to lead and perform comprehensive audits across various domains, focusing on internal audits, government audits, business systems audits, and SOX/internal controls within a public accounting context.

ResponsibilitiesLead and perform audits across various domains including internal audit, DCAA government audits, business systems audits, and SOX/internal controls.Drive internal initiatives focused on evaluating internal processes, identifying gaps in efficiency or control, and recommending practical enhancements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements.Apply frameworks such as SOX to strengthen control environments.Partner with the Controls Testing Team to ensure alignment and synergy across audit functions.Manage audits across six distinct business systems, ensuring compliance and readiness for external reviews.Engage with stakeholders, synthesize data, communicate findings, and influence decision-making.
Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.10–12 years in internal audit or public accounting (preferably Big 4/Top 10).Strong experience with internal controls and SOX.Process improvement mindset with familiarity in Six Sigma, Lean, CISA, CUSO, or PMP.2+ years of people management experience.Strong critical thinking, curiosity, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustry experience in manufacturing or consumer products.Familiarity with government contracting (DCAA, FAR, DFARS).Career blend of audit and process improvement roles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
