They will also help clean and maintain the lab spaces, as well as other responsibilities as necessary. Some A/V or computer technical support experience is preferred, but not required. There will be occasional work required during school breaks and on Saturdays, usually once a semester. This j **ob requires students to be eligible for and have accepted federal Work-Study funds.** **Responsibilities** Students are required to be available 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after each class to ensure video conferencing equipment is working appropriately. One student will be required to monitor our video connection to the other site for the duration of class, as well as help adjust A/V settings as required by faculty. Troubleshooting equipment and computers will be required, as well as communicating what’s happening to the rest of the team. Training and additional support will be provided. **Minimum Qualifications** **EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT :** 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience). **Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels:** **Audio-Visual Technician, I:** Requires little to no related experience. **Audio-Visual Technician, II:** Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
