Job Summary

Milller Electric-The Audio Visual Project Manager reports directly to the Sr. Project
Manager or Director. Responsibilities include safety, managing projects, estimating, scheduling,
billing/collecting accounts receivable, and soliciting new business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all company, client, and project policies/procedures are adhered to as specifiedGenerate estimates, prepare and review project proposal or plan to determine and establish a time frame, work plan, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.Oversee the project through administrative direction of on-site supervision to ensure the project is built by design, budget, and schedule.Plan coordinated and managed activities of all company personnel and subcontractors on assigned project(s)Generate billings and lead the collections process for projectsScheduling of field teamsManagement of service requests (as needed)Frequent project visits with field supervision and other personnel to understand progress, needs, or issues. Assist in the planning of future labor/material needs of the projectEnsure timely procurement and delivery of materials to the job site by working directly with vendorsBuild long-term relationships with both clients and fellow employees by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutionsProvide consistent feedback and reports to the business unit vice presidentManage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecastingProvide advice, guidance, mentoring, and direction to subordinates and other junior personnel toward the achievement of their personal development goalsResponsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual and team innovation and productivityResponsible for job site safety and adherence to company policies and national safety standards for personnel under supervision.Support and participate in company-sponsored initiatives and activities

 

Qualifications AV systems field experience is preferredEntrepreneurial experience is strongly preferredA college degree is preferredCTS or CTS-I certification is preferredProject management experience is requiredSome manufacturer technical certifications are requiredA good understanding of how to read electrical and mechanical drawings is requiredStrong computer skills are required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are requiredExcellent organizational skills are requiredAble to work independently as well as in a team environment is required
