We’re seeking an Audience Development Manager to join our innovative Bloomberg Live team on a 5 month contract. In this role, you’ll help recruit senior international executives and local leaders to attend world-class in-person events such as the Qatar Economic Forum.
We’ll trust you to:Act as a primary recruitment lead for various local and regional delegate communities to attend the Qatar Economic ForumAssist in delivering comprehensive audience recruitment strategies around the Qatar Economic Forum and any lead up events to the ForumDevelop positive relationships with local stakeholders in order to achieve specific event goalsHave a strong presence with clients to explain and set critical metrics and quotas as is relates to specific event initiativesBuild and lead delegate invitation lists for partners and stakeholdersHelp support our client experience team in the registration of sponsor delegations and ensure their seamless registration and arrival processAssist in the recruitment of delegates to join partner sponsored moments at the ForumWork with external partners to ensure all trackers and data sets alignMaintain information within CRM tools like Salesforce and other event technology solutionsMonitor and lead event specific inboxes to ensure inbound questions are answered in a timely mannerFulfill other related duties, as assignedYou’ll need to have:
5-8 years working in events, marketing, government relations or client managementExperience working with Salesforce, registration and lead generation systems such as CVENT.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular, strong proficiency in Excel and Google SheetsProficiency working with technology tools and initiative to pick up new technologies easilyStrong attention to detail and good judgment when handling and processing sensitive informationExtensive global industry knowledge and understanding of leading public and private sector entities and their leadership structuresDeep connections in the local business communityComfortability cold-calling and communicating with senior executive teams, their communications teams and government agencies to attend in-person eventsKnowledge of government protocols and a strong knowledge of regional institutions, corporations and government entitiesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be a great teammate and work across time zones with global counterparts
