We are seeking a dedicated Attorney to join one of the largest tech companies in Seattle, specializing in high-volume U.S. business immigration operations. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain broader business immigration experience, working alongside a team that is at the forefront of immigration operations.
ResponsibilitiesConduct research on legal precedents and prepare legal documents.Support legal proceedings by formulating defenses and initiating legal actions.Review non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings.Contribute to high-volume U.S. business immigration operations, including petition review and I-9 compliance.Respond to emails from visa-dependent employees on visa and green card eligibility, travel, and maintenance of status.Train admins on USCIS filings, document processing, and PERM job postings.Assist with root cause analysis and resolution for legal and operational issues.Identify and propose legal process improvement ideas to enhance quality and streamline workflow.Complete legal review of filings both remotely and onsite.Address legal questions related to I-9 completion and E-Verify.Support complex E-Verify issue resolution and train admins on I-9 reverification.Assist managers with understanding PERM requirements during applicant review.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law, with business or family-based experience as a plus.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a credible university.Admission to the bar.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and support a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office and legal research tools.Professional demeanor and ability to work with a large and diverse group of team members.Experience with legal compliance and immigration law.Work Environment
This position requires working onsite five days a week on our campus. Suppliers are expected to provide the necessary equipment, including a laptop, mouse, headset, and two computer monitors. The role operates Monday to Friday during standard core hours, with potential for overtime.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47.00 - $52.00/hr.
