What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Beach Ambassador will oversee the beach operations team, maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction and beach presentation. This role reports to the Guest Services Manager and involves managing daily beach operations efficiently and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Supervise and coordinate the beach operations team to ensure the beach, cabanas, and related facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained to Westin brand standards.

·         Inspect beach areas and equipment daily to ensure compliance with resort standards and address any issues promptly.

·         Respond to guest requests and beach-related concerns within 15 minutes, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

·         Train, motivate, and schedule beach staff to maintain a consistent level of service and guest satisfaction.

·         Assist with setting up beach amenities, such as chairs, umbrellas, and water sports equipment, ensuring a welcoming environment.

·         Engage with guests to promote beach activities, provide information, and enhance their experience.

·         Maintain effective relationships with local vendors and water sports operators to coordinate services and activities.

·         Work a flexible schedule, including day, late evenings as well as weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties.

What are we looking for?

·         Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or beach operations, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.·         Strong knowledge of beach safety, maintenance techniques, and guest service standards in a resort environment.·         Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace.·         Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask while being goal- and results-oriented.·         Westin brand experience is a plus.
