Our client, a leader in financial technology services, is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their innovative team. As a Software Engineer III, you will be part of the Applications team supporting ATM and mainframe systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Software Engineer III
**Location:** Remote after initial onboarding on-site for knowledge transfer
**Pay Range:** $55.00
**What's the Job?**
+ Develop and implement advanced software solutions to support ATM transaction processing and mainframe applications.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
+ Support and troubleshoot production incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
+ Design, create, and execute system test plans and automation scripts to validate application functionality.
+ Engage with third-party vendors for support, troubleshooting, and implementation projects.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Cobol, with experience supporting mainframe environments.
+ Hands-on experience with electronic transaction processing, ISO 8583 messaging, and ATM communication protocols.
+ Knowledge of encryption standards such as ICSF DES key encryption and HSMs, with experience in secure data transmission.
+ Strong understanding of mainframe systems, vendor ecosystems (Diebold, Hyosung, CV Systems), and related hardware/software.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
