What You Will Do

Malaysia based skilled lead-developer role for QTS-RAMPP RiskHubLead/manage a team of local developers in support of various RiskHub initiatives both regionally and globallyCollaborate with other RiskHub leads and contribute to delivering strategic/BAU RiskHub roadmapBe a point person for business users in the region and prioritize issues through proper channels and prioritization

Responsibility

Act as a lead developer to implement strategic greenfield initiatives for RiskHubCode, test, debug, implement and support a strategic intraday real-time and EOD risk and pnl applicationBe a thought leader, mentor and technical leader to provide architecture oversight and technology steer for ongoing and upcoming BOWAnalyze, debug and resolve production issues including but not limited to data flows, application performance, system latency and infrastructureCarry out data analysis & schema designs for EOD Risk DataProactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies and address them in a timely mannerReview and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activitiesCollaborate with the wider CM community for input and review of approach / design

Must Have?

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Computer ScienceExperience with Java 11 needed; RxJava & Java17 is highly desirableExcellent knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, threading & concurrencyGood knowledge of SQL (including performance tuning), Solace (Or other messaging frameworks) and UnixKnowledge of version control systems like GitHub and build frameworks like Maven, Jenkins and GitHub ActionsWorking knowledge of Spark 3, Amazon S3 and Python

Nice to Have?

Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectivelyPrevious experience or understanding of Risk Management in a financial services setting would be beneficialQuick learner with ability to pick up new technologies/skills and business knowledgePrior experience in Apache Ignite/GridGain, Python, SprintBoot, HTML5 and React is highly desirableShould be well versed with enterprise DataLake concepts (HDFS, Hive, Dremio toolkit) and should be able to leverage these for representing risk/PnL datasetsShould be able to deal with change and provide demos/technical walkthroughs to seniors RAMPP/QTS colleagues.
