Associate Software Technical Analyst
_We are looking for an_ **_Associate Software Technical Analyst_** _to join the Global Actuarial Business Support (GABS) team at MPBS. You will play a role in accelerating the technical evolution and support of our Actuaries around the world. The role needs strong analytical and solid collaborative skills to support the enhancement requirements, non-production and production processes and fixes of the application and have strong interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders and support teams across the globe._ _Have the skills and experience for the job? Learn more about it below!_ **Position Responsibilities:** + Collaborate with Valuation System Transformation project team and other groups within the Actuarial Systems group as well as Actuaries within the company to uncover pain points and opportunities to accelerate the delivery of new business value through software, infrastructure, and services + Deliver an exceptional user experience to Actuaries, through the delivery of services enabling + Self-service environment provisioning and configuration + Continuous integration, testing, delivery, and deployment + Logging, monitoring, and insight + Collaboration, planning, and reporting + Maintain and support these delivery services, with accountability for production reliability and usage, and the delivery of new functionality + Support non-production and Production operations and fixes + Work with support teams and vendors to implement fixes and changes + Primarily work in Asia, Mid or North America time, with flexibility to adjust to meet with the global team and support weekend deployments or production requirements. + **_Amenable to work in UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)_** + **_Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)_** + **_Amenable to work in any shift schedule assigned (preferably day or night; but flexible depending on business need)_** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or any related course + At least 1-2 years’ experience with the following: + **Scheduling Automation (e.g. CA, CTRL-M, CAWLA)** + **Unix and Unix Scripting** + **Relational Database (SQL / Oracle / MSSQL)** + ETL (Informatica) + Reporting (QlikView) **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in operations management & vendor management, working with stakeholders and support teams across the globe + Excellent analytical, problem solving, and solutioning skills + Knowledge and application of change & release management, ITIL4 & project management + Familiarity with agile principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features + Understanding of software development lifecycle + Understanding of how technology supports Manulife business strategy + Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, share skills and methods + Constantly learns from both success and failure + Good verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes + Good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills + Strong management drive to ensure you meet defined service targets and Service Level Agreements + Ability to maintain the highest level of ethical conduct in safeguarding sensitive, confidential, financial, HR company information **When you join our team:** + We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. + We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words. + As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see. **Acerca de Manulife y John Hancock** Manulife Financial Corporation es un importante proveedor internacional de servicios financieros que ayuda a las personas a tomar decisiones de una manera más fácil y a vivir mejor.
