Amazon fresh is looking for a talented, driven and experienced Associate Site Merchandiser (ASM) for it’s Grocery and Consumables business. It is a pivotal role that will contribute to the evolution and success of one of the key priorities of the organization by enhancing the customer journey and helping customers discover products they require. Joining the team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment.
As an Associate Site Merchandiser you will ensure that customer experience and expectations are set and met to a high standard. He or she will execute and schedule content on emails, home pages, category pages, and pages across the site based on the instructions/inputs shared by Marketing manager. Also prepare a report on performance and traffic data to our management teams. He or she will assist in creation of new brand and product stores based on the inputs. This person will be involved in coordinating with the category managers, designers, and other editors in similar roles across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Content Merchandising & Site Management
a) Merchandise and optimize Amazon Fresh content on the Amazon.in homepage to maximize visibility and customer engagement
b) Execute end-to-end launch plan for new channels to drive incremental traffic and customer acquisition
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Partnerships:
a) Proactively identify and secure placement opportunities in Amazon.in thematic and topical stores to enhance selection discoverability
b) Collaborate closely with homepage team and central marketing team stakeholders to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives
3. Digital Marketing & Campaign Management:
a) Own and execute Google Demand Generation campaigns end-to-end, optimizing for increased traffic and improved click-through rates (CTR)
b) Develop, refresh, and A/B test campaign content and callouts to maximize performance
c) Plan, launch, and monitor marketing campaigns across outbound channels (push notifications) and Associates programs
4. Analytics & Performance Reporting:
a) Generate and deliver comprehensive performance reports for homepage placements and paid channel campaigns
b) Track and analyze campaign performance metrics across multiple marketing channels
5. Technical Proficiency & Continuous Learning:
a) Develop expertise in merchandising platforms, data extraction tools, and analytics dashboards
b) Stay current with evolving tools and best practices to enhance operational efficiency

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with data analysis and basic Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- 1+ years of Amazon, or 1+ years of customer-facing environment experience
- Preferred qualifications
- Masters degree
- Capability to meet our technical requirements, which include HTML, XML and Excel, plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly
