Under general supervision, this role supports routine laboratory procedures and testing within either the HPLC and Capillary Electrophoresis group or the Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring group. The position involves routine analytical testing, sample collection, documentation, and compliance with cGMP and safety regulations.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine laboratory procedures and analytical testing using HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, or Microbiology techniques as applicable.Maintain, operate, and clean specialized laboratory equipment.Document, compute, compile, interpret, and enter data accurately.Initiate and/or implement changes to controlled documents.Learn, follow, and comply with safety guidelines and cGMP/CFR requirements.Maintain training records, laboratory documentation, written procedures, and laboratory logbooks.Support building monitoring systems as required.Assist with environmental monitoring performance qualifications.Execute routine environmental monitoring sample collection in classified/GMP areas.Assist with clean utilities performance qualifications, including Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam, clean compressed air, oxygen, and carbon dioxide distribution systems.Perform routine utilities sample collection and monitoring.Assist with general laboratory start-up activities.Perform routine tasks such as laboratory cleaning and inventory management.Support weekend and public holiday activities as needed.Essential SkillsSome lab experience is preferred.Experience with environmental monitoring preferred but not required.Knowledge of aseptic techniques.Experience with Good Documentation Practices/Good Laboratory Practices preferred.Good writing and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with HPLC and capillary electrophoresis.Additional Skills & QualificationsSome laboratory experience preferred.Familiarity with GMP environments, analytical testing, or microbiology is a plus.Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate documentation.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under general supervision.Work EnvironmentThe role is based on-site and requires adherence to safety guidelines and cGMP/CFR requirements. The work involves routine laboratory procedures, sample collection, and analytical testing. You will be expected to maintain accurate documentation and support laboratory and environmental monitoring activities.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
