Associate Project Manager

The Associate Project Manager supports a variety of project activities, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and executing project or program-related tasks within a PMO (Project / Program Management Office) environment. This position helps ensure that initiatives align with organizational strategies, commitments, and objectives. The role also carries out internally defined processes across IT project delivery, product management, budget coordination, service level management, and IT service management operations..

Essential Job Functions
+ Assist with planning, scheduling, and organizing project tasks, timelines, and milestones.
+ Maintain project documentation, including plans, calendars, status reports, risk logs, change requests, and action items.
+ Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
+ Prepare regular project status updates and reports for project managers and leadership.
+ Support budget, expense, and resource tracking; monitor spend against planned budgets and assist with procurement activities (e.g., invoices, vendor contracts).
+ Identify, track, and help mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies; assist with quality checks on deliverables.
+ Schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, track action items, and follow up with owners.
+ Support the adoption of AI and automation tools by identifying repetitive workflows, assisting teams with usage, and partnering with project managers to assess new AI capabilities that improve delivery efficiency
Education and/or Experience
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Bachelors degree in CIS, MIS, Business, Project Management, or other discipline preferred.
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in project management, IT, or project support role.
+ Consideration is given to relevant practical experience and related certification.
+ A valid driver's license may be required, along with a driving record that meets the requirements of the company's insurance provider
