In this role, you will be the primary contact for all customer interactions related to clinical, pharma, and clinical trial testing. Your core responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction throughout laboratory processing, maintaining customer deliverables, and resolving any issues accurately. You will also be expected to maintain accurate logs of current samples in for testing and perform quality checks on all deliverables to customers. Training other client services personnel as required is also part of the job. You will be expected to maintain a complaint log to document any customer issues and notify sr leadership of all perceived issues and complaints.
Hard Skills- Proficiency in computer skills, such as word processing, Excel and information systems- Understanding of regulatory compliance and HIPAA- Knowledge of medical terminology- Ability to work in various database systems
Soft Skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Positive attitude- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and evolving work environment- Ability to focus, not easily distracted- Comfortable with change and shifting priorities
Client services team
Handling genetic sequencing patient tumor samples
Organize activity for testing, intake/cataloging of samples,
Communicate both with internal and external folks on testing
Handle discrepancies with testing and communicate with client or internal people as needed
Email communication primarily, proficient with Microsoft outlook
Heavy documentation – handle study documentation as it will be submitted to the FDA, maintain documentation every step of the way
First person to intake the sample and last person to touch it when it gets sent back out
Additional Skills & Qualifications
One year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field. Ideal candidate will have experience has a PM, APM or QC, Document control.
Minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience required.
Successful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas: written and verbal communications, interpersonal cross functional team-based interaction, organizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, and problem solving. Should also be intellectually curious and results oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft suite
o Outlook
o Excel – pivot tables, formulas
Data entry/integrity – documentation for studies on the samples
AA/Bachelors’ – nice to have, not required
They had a previous candidate from Gen tech, this was a great company to come from
LIM system – which one have they used prior, most companies have their own internal one they have built

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.
