Were in this together. **Overview:** We are seeking a highly organized and creatively driven Associate Producer to support live and VOD programming across YouTube, Paramount+, and social platforms. This role is deeply embedded across the full production lifecyclefrom pre-show planning and live execution to post-show publishing, clipping, and audience growth. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced live environments, brings strong editorial judgment, and understands how to translate show moments into high-performing digital content. A strong passion for basketball, audience engagement, and cross-platform storytelling is essential. **Your Day to Day:** Pre-Show Production Contribute story ideas, talking points, and editorial beats to daily and weekly rundowns Build and organize show graphics, pull images, B-roll, and archival footage Prepare YouTube-specific engagement elements, including polls, prompts, and pinned comment copy Coordinate assets and show needs with producers, hosts, and the social team Live / In-Show Execution Take detailed, real-time timecodes to support post-show clipping and social distribution Actively support and moderate YouTube Live chat during broadcasts Run, monitor, and optimize YouTube polls and other engagement features Pull and deliver on-the-fly visual assets in real time during live shows Support producers with live notes, pacing feedback, and editorial awareness Post-Show & Distribution Publish and manage episodes across YouTube and Paramount Write and pin engaging YouTube comments to spark conversation and improve retention Flag key moments, segments, and notes for social and editorial teams Design and produce social graphics tied to major show moments Cut and deliver a high volume of social clips for X/Twitter and other platforms Own posting and distribution of select clips across social channels Post select VODs as directed by senior producers Social & Audience Growth Deliver polished, platform-specific social cuts optimized for performance Own and actively manage the YouTube Community (Posts) tab Collaborate with producers on channel growth strategy, experimentation, and testing Maintain a clean, organized system for tracking show moments, clips, and assets Help evolve and maintain the visual look and feel of shows across platforms Additional Production Support Serve as a producer on additional shows during the football offseason Act as a backup producer for select live and VOD programming as needed Contribute clear, accurate show notes and post-show summaries Assist with sponsorship execution, integration, and tracking Provide production coverage during breaking news or emergency programming **Qualifications:** Experience producing audio and video programming 25 years of professional experience working in media or production environments Deep knowledge of basketball, including fantasy and sports wagering Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into actionable decisions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working closely with on-air talent and production teams Proven ability to collaborate with and help guide the editorial direction of multiple shows Experience managing tight production schedules and translating ideas into execution Demonstrated ability to keep communication clear and consistent across teams A sharp editorial eye and a talent for delivering thoughtful, constructive feedback on both content and performance CBS Sports, a year-round leader in cross-platform sports coverage, broadcasts a portfolio of events on the CBS Television Network, including THE NFL ON CBS; college football, including the Big Ten ON CBS; college basketball, including the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship; golf, including The Masters, PGA Championship and PGA TOUR; soccer, including the UEFA Champions League and NWSL; and CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR.
