About Position / Position Summary

Boeing Global Services Supplier Management Team is currently looking for an Associate Procurement Agent to join their team in Bangalore, India. This team seeks a highly-skilled and motivated individual.

This is an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure material availability while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners. 

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones having international experience working with diverse groups and cultures . The ability to multi task & deliver within timelines is essential. Practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools, SAP understanding is preferred. The candidate will have excellent communications skills and Supplier Engagement Acumen.  He or she must be able to maintain positive relationships with leadership at all levels of the organization.

This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India. 

Position Responsibilities:

Oversee Purchasing Activities in the Area of Direct Materials and ensure purchased items are both cost effective and of high qualityDrive and Monitor towards Closures for RFQs to Approved VendorsResponsible for Timely Receipt of Materials, Expedites & Supplier management Ownership towards Supplier Payments, Stock Transfer Orders, Return to Vendors and Return Material AuthorizationTracking and Reporting Key Functional Metrics to improve Process EffectivenessTrack, monitor and action upon Service requests (SRs) received from the Save the Sale (STS) team on SAP.Role involves expediting Purchase orders and/or cancellation or reductions to align with the business requirements.Liaise with the customer facing teams including Customer Program Managers for quick turnaround of SRs.Validate incoming service requests for errors and perform due diligence before communicating to the supplierBuilding good rapport with the suppliers and deploy strategies that the minimize any cost impact to Boeing. Process PO terminations, termination claims or expedite fees, when necessary.Prioritize customer escalations and AOG requestsProvide back up support interchangeably in the absence of a team memberPrepare reports on a weekly/monthly basis to communicate the progress to the leadershipPartnering with Stakeholders to Ensure Clear Requirements DocumentationQuality of Reporting in Terms of Data Accuracy and Drive Hygiene in SAPCommunicating and Negotiating with Vendors and or Internal Stakeholders

Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordHands on towards Procure to Pay ProcessPrior working experience in Aerospace Industry is preferredAnalytical SkillsExposure to Global Business Interactive Environment Flexibility in Work hours due to Sites in Europe and US

Typical Education & Experience:
