Associate or Mid-Level Product Acceptance Specialist

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Product Acceptance Specialist in San Antonio, TX

Applicants must be available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

Level B

Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring. Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Level C

Verifies product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures. Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)1+ years of experience interpreting manufacturing blueprints1+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing1+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processesMust have analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Associate’s degree or higher1+ years of knowledge with technical experience in an aerospace environment3+ years of experience working in teams/work groupsComputer proficiency including Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in military aviation1+ year of experience supporting military aviation life support programs, preferably with F-15, F-18, and or similar platforms

This position may require up to 10% travel.

Summary pay range: USD (Associate) Level 2 $49,300 - $66,700

                                           (Mid-Level) Level 3 $58,650 - $79,350
