**About the role**
The Associate Move Managersupports the successful execution of the move by providing on-sitecoordination, inventory control, and real-time communication between the movevendor, client, and remote project team. This role serves as the “boots on theground,” ensuring accuracy, compliance, and issue resolution throughout moveactivities.
_This is not a remote role, theAssociate Move Manager will be required to report to the client’s office inClinton, NJ five days per week._ _Thisrole may require occasional weekend and evening work._
This job is part of the Move Managementfunction. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiationthrough completion.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Move Execution & VendorOversight**
+ Supervise on-site move vendor activities to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and safety requirements.
+ Provide immediate direction or escalation of issues observed during move operations.
+ Confirm proper handling, staging, and placement of equipment and furnishings.
**Labeling & InventoryControl**
+ Print move labels in accordance with approved labeling standards.
+ Label furniture, equipment, and assets accurately prior to move.
+ Verify labeled items are correctly associated with destination rooms and floor plans.
+ Compare and reconcile equipment physically located in rooms against approved inventory lists.
+ Identify discrepancies, missing items, or undocumented assets and report to the project team.
**On-Site Representation &Communication**
+ Act as the “eyes and ears” for the remote project team, providing real-time updates from the field.
+ Document observations, risks, and issues encountered during move activities.
+ Communicate daily progress, challenges, and resolutions to the project manager.
**Client & Team Coordination**
+ Meet with client representatives as needed to confirm expectations, priorities, and immediate needs.
+ Coordinate with internal project team members to align on sequencing, issue resolution, and next steps.
+ Support walk-throughs, validations, and readiness checks as required.
**Success Criteria**
+ Accurate labeling and inventory reconciliation with minimal discrepancies.
+ Smooth on-site execution with proactive issue identification.
+ Clear, timely communication between field operations and remote leadership.
+ Positive client interactions and confidence in on-site coordination.
**What you’ll need**
Applicants must be currentlyauthorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorshipnow or in the future.
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Instead of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced move environment.
+ Clear, professional communication skills (verbal and written)
+ Comfort working independently while supporting a remote project team
+ Experience with lab moves, inventory management, or facilities coordination preferred
+ Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices is helpful.
+ Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. and the ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $90,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
