As the Raw Material and Color Development Associate, you will be responsible for managing the research, gathering, and development of fabric, trim and color for knits and woven categories for Product Creation. Supporting Director and Raw Material and Color Development in the development of high-quality, cost effective, brand-right fabrics and trims. Collaborate with key stakeholders in establishing, refining, and implementing Fabric R&D processes into the broader design and development process, both internally and externally. You must be able to operate and thrive in a highly matrixed, fast pace global organization. Having a passion and understanding for sneaker, music, and artistic culture is a plus.

Responsibilities Stay abreast of fabric and trim trends and technological developments as they relate to the business needsFacilitate the approval process of lab dips, strike-offs, and other seasonal color development from design request to bulk approvalDevelop, organize, and maintain material sourcing libraryManage internal system for color development tracking purposes, reporting and development analyticsWork directly with design, product development, production, and vendors on fabric development related issues for immediate needs and future developmentAssist the team to prepare all material submissions with Design and PD teamsOrganize, maintain, track all material, and color developmentSend and receive development packages as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred 3-5 years of related experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word)Experience with PLM and/or other product development systems preferredAttention to detail and ability to work collaborativelyMust be able to thrive in a fast paced and high-performance environmentStrong inter-personal skills to work with all levels of management and a diverse teamExperience working with domestic and international productionPassion for the retail industry Benefits

The annual base salary range is $65000-$75000 This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
