Role Purpose:

The Associate Manager - Graphic Design is responsible for designing and specifying design parameters to

assist in the websites enhancement and maintenance. The role holder is also responsible for managing

Graphic Designers and supporting online graphic design, flash animation, usage of HTML and online creative

requirements.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design

Conceptualise, design and produce promotional materials to provide the department with necessary visual communications requirements for materials they need to produceDevelop graphic design in order to integrate it onto the various advertising mediumsDevelop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websiteDetermining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size

 

Design Guidelines

Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aestheticTake full accountability in adhering to artwork specifications as per suppliers’ guidelinesSupervise all advertising and digital campaigns, news related to competitor to keep abreast of any developments to act accordinglyFollow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Minimum Qualifications/education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing or closely related field

 

Minimum experience:

5+ years' experience as a graphic designer or social media analyst, preferably in the retail industry
