Position Overview:

The Associate, Merchandise Product Management and Sourcing generally oversees on one or two departments in partnership with a Manager or Director. This current opportunity seeks Denim experience.

This position is located in Duluth, MN

Performance requirementsCollaborate with leadership to execute product management & sourcing initiativesSupport supplier relationships, assisting in negotiations, and contributing to cost-effective sourcing strategies.Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and streamline processes in the product development lifecycle.Assist in overseeing production timelines and troubleshooting issues to meet due dates. Participate in supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation processes.Report on sourcing and raw materials strategies                                                               Assess vendor product capabilitiesAllocate styles to vendors / factoriesConduct cost exercise on key programs and evaluate potential savingsCommunicate updates to vendors post seasonal milestonesNegotiate costs with vendors and confirm final costingManage seasonal category time & actions (incl. long lead time / chase)Conduct production status to resolve issues affecting agreed time and actionManage test/chase strategiesLead Pod “WIP” (work-in-progress) MeetingsAnticipate cross-functional team needsPrioritize tasks and projects to manage workload

Work Experience and education requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in denim product management and sourcing, or related role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate, influence vendors, and collaborate cross functionally with internal & external partners
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00
