Associate Logistics Billing Specialist

Job Description

The India Fuels & Logistics Global Capability Centre (F&L GCC) is an integral part of ACT’s Global Fuels & Logistics Team, and the Logistics Billing Specialist will be a key player on this team that will help support with billing tasks for internal fleet’s fuel deliveries and grow F&L globally at ACT.

The hired candidate will partner with multiple departments, including Global Technology, Business Units and Support functions.

About the role

The incumbent will be responsible for performing billing tasks for internal fleet’s fuel deliveries, ensuring all fuel deliveries are reconciled within standards set by compliance team, and for completing operational inquiries by developing thoughtful, and thorough practical analysis and reports to inform decisions and support business needs. 

Roles & Responsibilities

Billing

Perform billing tasks using internal systems and ensure fuel deliveries are reconciled as per the compliance standards and based off completed activitiesWork towards reducing incoming volume of ordersAbility to read paperwork from terminals to update orders/systems accordinglyEffective email writing and verbal communication skills

Operational Excellence

Strong organizational and time management skillsTakes ownership and works as One Team to deliver the daily assigned tasks within the defined SLAActive Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions, as appropriate.

Stakeholder Management

Partner with stakeholders across Global Technology, and Business Units Leadership to build and continually improve/ optimize metricsServe as first point of contact for the Business stakeholders for any technical/non-technical issues within the project and communicate the same to higher-ups within the stipulated timelines to avoid any process delays

Qualifications And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or Business Administration 0-1 years in a logistics/accounting roleFluency in English - verbal and written communicationUnderstanding of Billing ProcessProficient with MS excel/MS Office Suite
