What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Support the operation and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and control systems including DeltaV DCS, SCADA & PLCs.Support reliability engineering for production and support equipmentProvide on the floor operational support as neededResponsible for Periodic review of the Automation Systems with support of validation team.Responsibility for managing regulatory aspects of the site networked engineering data collection, monitoring and SCADA systemsResponsible for implementation of compliance initiatives including monitoring of system security procedures and practices and system logins for complianceGenerate user requirement specifications for control systems.Author and/or review design documents for projects and process changesDefine requirements for vendor design documentation.Review vendor automation design documentation (FS, HDS, SDS, DDS, requirements traceability matrix, code and logic, etc.).Support FAT/commissioning/qualification activities as requiredSupport the execution of the qualification of automated control systems.Prepare risk assessments for automated systemsPrepare Change Controls associated with changes to control systemsDesign and implementation support for functional and process changes, either smaller projects, remediation activities or capital projectsSupport future capital projects and assure site automation standards are followedAssist other departments in evaluating historical process/equipment data.Responsible for backup/archiving/restoring of Automation configuration and batch.Provide continuous 24x7x365 support for automation systems.Monitor and identify issues to develop preventative solutions.Support the development of Preventive Maintenance Procedures for process control systems.Adhere to safe work practices consistently.Contribute to project milestones, organize work to meet deadlines, and communicate progress and issues to peers.Learn and apply basic team effectiveness skills within the immediate Work Team.Make decisions to resolve basic problems with limited options and decision-making authority, under supervisor's direction.Work in a structured environment using established procedures, seeking guidance from colleagues, with regular reviews for technical judgment, completeness, and accuracy, relying on the supervisor's judgment.Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelor's degree with any years of experience, Associate’s degree with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experienceHands-on experience with engineering design and validationDemonstrated organizational skills to meet project task deadlines effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with automated systems and equipmentKnowledge of Good Manufacturing PracticesAbility to provide 24x7x365 support for automation systemsBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Experience in pharmaceutical industry engineeringFamiliarity with Preventive Maintenance Procedures for process control systemsAbility to monitor issues and develop preventative solutionsExperience with manufacturing information systemsWork Location Assignment: On Premise
