Role Overview
As an Analyst within the UST India Fund and Data Reporting team, you will be responsible for the production, validation, and timely delivery of fund and client reporting outputs. The role sits within the Fund Mandate Control function and supports both internal and external stakeholders.
You will operate reporting processes independently, maintain templates and data feeds, investigate discrepancies, and ensure high-quality reporting standards. The role provides exposure to a broad range of fund data, reporting requirements, and regulatory considerations, offering strong development opportunities in both BAU operations and project-based initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & DeliveryProduce daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting outputs (e.g., factsheets, regulatory reports, management information reports) within agreed timelines.
Validate data accuracy and completeness prior to release.
Maintain and update reporting templates and supporting documentation.
Support the ongoing maintenance of the Schroders funds portal.
Controls & Risk ManagementPerform control checks in line with operational procedures and reporting standards.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies or reporting issues.
Document and escalate exceptions or issues to the Senior Analyst or Team Leader as appropriate.
Stakeholder ManagementManage and respond to allocated stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner.
Provide regular updates on reporting status and highlight risks or delays.
Contribute to the preparation of team management information (MI) and KPIs.
Continuous ImprovementSupport process improvement and automation initiatives.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, data quality, and reporting controls.
Build knowledge of fund structures, products, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Skills & Experience
1–2 years’ experience in fund reporting, data operations, or financial services operations.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of MS Office applications.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within a team.
Good-to-Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with reporting or data platforms (e.g., fund accounting, BI tools, data visualization tools).
Understanding of asset management products and fund structures.
Awareness of regulatory reporting requirements in asset management.
Experience supporting process improvement or automation initiatives.
Exposure to management information (MI) reporting and KPI tracking.
