Associate II - Asset Owner Operations Service Delivery

As an Associate within the Global Fund Services Client Operations Asset Owner team,  you will partner with the technology, operations and product teams to own the overall delivery of services provided to our clients. You may lead a team with a focus on client oversight and reporting. You will have the opportunity to drive client issue resolution, ensure proper execution on client deliverables, communicate client status updates and provide KPIs to senior management to ensure appropriate escalation and prioritization of all client issues.

You will also be accountable for building and maintaining a network of partners throughout the Corporate & Investment Bank operational and service delivery organizations in order to promote client focus and drive overall service quality.

To be successful, you must have a strong sense of ownership and a working knowledge of accounting deliverables for Fund Accounting.

Job Responsibilities

Review Global Distributed Operating Model ManagementContinue daily contact with our clients and their outside administrators/advisorsParticipate in periodic client meetingsBe Responsible for issue management, escalation and remediationCoordinate client requested changes to operating model and reportingEnsure successful delivery of client reportingAssist with accounting queries related to the financial reporting/audit process (including but not limited to query management and resolution)

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

Six plus years of experience in Operations fund operationsAbility to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management organizationsExceptional leadership and staff development skills with prior team management experienceExcellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clientsAnalytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skillsExperience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver resultsExpert use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and client service skills with attention to detail; executive presentation skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environmentRelationship building skills - develop partnerships to drive resultsStrong multi-tasking and negotiation skills Experience preferably in client-facing roles with strong technical skills including accounting fundamentals and theories
