This role is part of Alcon's Facilities & Administration function, a team that works to promote a safe and inclusive work environment through site services, like facilities management and security, and administrative support, as we transform the eye care industry.
Associate II, Administrative Assistant (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for handling technical administrative tasks, supporting operations, and improving efficiency by following established procedures and applying technical skills. Specific responsibilities include:
• Edit, proof, format, and produce documents
• Enter data, file or archive paper and electronic documents, and maintain accurate and complete documentation with rigorous quality control
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, manage diaries, arrange travel, and receive and relay telephone messages from internal and external contacts
• Handle confidential business and personnel information
• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Complete all required training, meet individual job requirements, and contribute to organizational compliance and continuous improvement* Raise purchase orders and administer the same with requisite functional stakeholders* End to End management of Alcon internal events (scheduling, vendor management, budgets etc.)
