Associate I - Oracle GL Business/Technical Support
**Associate - Legal Entity Controllership (LEC) - IN** The role is responsible for Month end Head Office Reporting, Regulatory Reporting as per US GAAP, Daily General Ledger Control Checks, Reference Data maintenance, Management Information Reporting & Analysis, Inter Entity reconciliation, GL balance substantiation & reconciliation. **Key Responsibilities and Duties** + The other activities also include adhoc issues resolution & queries, ensure data quality before submissions, investigate, resolve and escalate issues on timely basis, both within finance as well as cross departments. **Educational Requirements** + University (Degree) Preferred **Work Experience** + 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred **Physical Requirements** + Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work **Career Level** 6IC **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** **Oracle Cloud Functional Support-GL** + Act as the primary application owner for the General Ledger module in terms of configuration and overall administrations + Design and implement effective security controls for the Oracle Fusion environment, including user access, roles, and permissions, ensuring appropriate segregation of duties in collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and auditors. + Maintain configurations such as Chart of Accounts (COA), cross-validation rules, and approval hierarchies as business needs evolve. + Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for Oracle Fusion and create reports, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements + Conduct regular security assessments and audits of Oracle Fusion Application applications. + Creation and Maintenance of Reports as subject matter expert + Updating and creating of SOP and user manuals + Maintain business units/ledgers/sources + Manage user entitlements and workflow processing + Promote process efficiency and control improvements of the Ledger + Develop end-user training and quick reference guide library **EDM administration** + Understand and Maintain EDM hierarchies and attributes that are used to manage inbound data mapping (Legal entities, Accounts, Departments, Product, Book Code, Fund, etc.) + Updating and creating of SOP and user manuals + Promote process efficiency and control improvements of the EDM system **REQUIRED** + BCA/MCA/BE or bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline + Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion and EDM is must + 5 - 8 years of experience in an analytical, technical, accounting, finance, or related role + Experience with financial accounting systems + Advanced proficiency in MS Excel + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to work as an effective team player and ability to collaborate + Demonstrated strength in analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and achieve targeted outcomes + A commitment to a culture of excellence and client service + A sense of urgency, results orientated and thoughtful execution skills + Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and positive work ethic + Ability to take direction and work independently **Good to have** + PeopleSoft + Experience with Ledger design and/or ERP implementation Related Skills Accountability, Accounting Standards, Business Acumen, Business Process Improvement, Compliance, Consultative Communication, Cost Accounting, Financial Acumen, Financial Analysis, Financial Risk Management, Market/Industry Dynamics, Relationship Management, Risk Analysis/Analytics, Strategic Thinking, Transaction Processing _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ **Company Overview** TIAA Global Capabilities was established in 2016 with a mission to tap into a vast pool of talent, reduce risk by insourcing key platforms and processes, as well as contribute to innovation with a focus on enhancing our technology stack.
