Apply now! **Location:** 1100 Prosperity Road - Lima, Ohio 45801 **Position Summary:** This role will support daily functions of the Human Resources Department that include but not limited to, Hiring and Recruitment, orientation and on-boarding, Benefit administration, compliance follow-up, Data analytics, training, and associate relations. This position will have a balance of administrative and strategic support in the area or business segment they support. **Here’s what you’ll do:** + **Recruitment and Hiring** : Posting jobs, screening candidates, conduct interviews, extend offers and manage the onboarding process. Support Maintaining of various files and documentation. + **Benefits and Compliance** : Support enrollment for various benefit programs, answering questions on coverage and processing changes. Also, will have knowledge and support of other compliance topics below. + Support administration of OFCCP programs, goals and training. + Knowledge of FMLA, Leaves and ADA programs. + Support and administer FLSA compliance standards. + Investigate and recommend action on unemployment, workers compensation, and EEO claims. + **Performance Management** : Support the talent cycle, goal setting, writing and delivering performance reviews, and coaching leaders on written and verbal communication **.** + **Associate Relations:** Investigate associate concerns, mediate disputes, addressing various complaints and maintaining positive associate relations. + **Strategic Partnerships:** Partner with HR management and HR Business Partner(s) to provide guidance and counsel to management and/or Associates on Associate relations issues and company policies, practices and procedures to include, but not limited to, promotions, demotions, transfers, benefits/open enrollment, leave of absences, return to work programs, worker's compensation, performance evaluations, performance plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations. + Project Management experience or certification. + Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. **Here’s what you’ll need:** + Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field or combination of education and/or experience. PHR/ SPHR certification preferred. + 1-3 years human resources experience. + Bilingual (Spanish and English). Native speaker (verbal and written) proficiency required. + PHR/SHRM certification a plus. + Experience with distribution, production, or manufacturing work environment a plus. + Familiarity with union work environments a plus. + Knowledge of human resources policies and practices. Detailed knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws. + Ability to provide leadership while partnering with facility management proactively addressing issues, questions and concerns responding with urgency to address Human Resources needs. + Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization. + Ability to work independently on projects, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. + Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite of products. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Ability to travel, including overnight, between 10 and 25% to company locations depending on assigned area or position. Role will provide support to company Distribution Center location in Bellefontaine, OH and will travel there once a week on average. **Physical Requirements:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
